MecoFence posts and WPC fence boards are made from the same wood-plastic composite with the same co-extruded protective layer. For trade partners this means one material specification, one colour palette and one manufacturer across the whole fence. Where a project calls for a single wood-grain colour from post to board, the Super Kit post is the MecoFence alternative to the silver or black aluminium Y-post.

A composite post has to do three things well: keep its surface, stay rigid in the ground and match the boards beside it. The Super Kit post is designed around all three.
Recycled inputs
Recycled wood fibres and plastic put recovered materials back into use. Extend the recycled-material proposition of your WPC panels to the posts in the same product range.
Water & UV protection
The Surlyn outer layer is co-extruded around all four faces of the post, not only the visible face. It resists moisture, staining and UV fading to the same standard as MecoFence boards, so post and board weather together over the years.
Concealed base, rigid post
A 500 mm steel base sits inside the hollow post and is either anchored to the slab or set in concrete. MecoFence locating fittings fill the clearance between base and post, so the post stands rigid with no wobble and no exposed metal.

Post assembly
Fittings, base & cap.
Each Super Kit post ships with its internal base, three locating fittings and an aluminium cap kit. The base enters the post from below and is anchored or set in concrete; fittings A–C seat the post on the base and stop lateral movement; the cap kit carries the four L-fix brackets that hold the rails. The bill of materials is confirmed per order.

or WPC Super Kit post?
MecoFence makes both posts for the same fence system. Specify the aluminium Y-post where maximum rigidity and the patented Y-groove matter most; specify the WPC Super Kit post where a single colour from post to board and a concealed base are the priority. Both run on the same 30 × 30 mm rails and 24 mm co-extruded boards, so either can be offered from one stocked range.
